LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews battled a blaze early Sunday morning at a golf course in southeast Lincoln.
The structure fire was called in around 6:50 a.m. at NuMark Golf Course near 84th Street and Pioneers Boulevard.
Videos taken by users on the NOW Local News App showed flames and heavy smoke in the area.
Another video shows LFR crews blocking off a part of Pioneers Boulevard.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said the fire started in a maintenance shed on the north side of the golf course along Pioneers Boulevard.
When crews arrived, the shed was fully engulfed in flames, according to Lierman.
The maintenance shed is a total loss and it’s unknown what caused the fire.
