LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a global data and analytics company, and Radar, a geofencing technology provider, have formed a strategic alliance to develop compliance tools for the U.S. online gaming and gambling industry, the companies announced.
The partnership aims to create products that ensure devices used for online gambling comply with state-specific regulations, coming as the American gaming industry experiences significant growth. Industry data indicates that U.S. gaming revenue has experienced record revenue for the past three years, and 38 states and the District of Columbia have legalized mobile gambling, creating a complex regulatory landscape for operators.
“LexisNexis Risk Solutions provides the tools gaming and gambling operators need today to mitigate fraud, identify risk and help ensure compliance. By aligning with Radar, we can offer those protections throughout the entire customer lifecycle,” said Sean Britt, senior director at LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
