WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – The Forest Preserves of Winnebago County announces that storm damage has caused some areas to close.
In a Facebook post, Forest Preserves of Winnebago County says the south area preserves are closed until further notice. They ask for a few days to allow their crews to clear the debris from the roads.
The Ledges Golf Course is also closed today. According to their Facebook, the course is partially flooded, and portions are unplayable. They say they will reassess tomorrow and re-open if possible.
They say they will update their Facebook when they reopen.
