LEWISTON – Zach Anderson and LC State Women’s Golf announced the addition of Sandpoint’s Taylor Mire to the 2025-26 Warrior squad. The decorated Idaho product will join LC State in the fall.
“We are ecstatic about the addition of Taylor to the women’s program,” Anderson said. “She has a ton of great experience in high school and junior golf that she can carry with her into a competitive Warrior team. We can’t wait to get her on campus in the fall.”
Mire has had a standout career at Sandpoint High School where she is a four-time team MVP. As a senior, she has a scoring average of 77.9 and won the individual district title in 2023 and 2024. Mire has placed in the top 10 at the Idaho 5A State Championships three times and helped the team place third three times. With Mire on the team, Sandpoint has won four district titles.
The senior was named the 2022 North Idaho Hall of Fame Female Golfer of the Year and is a four-time All-Inland Empire League selection.
“The direction of the program progressing to a national level is one of the main reasons why I chose LC State,” Mire said. “I look forward to putting in the work to be the best player I can be to further contribute to the success of the program.”
