Zane Trace’s Rosella Lattavo has been named the Scioto Valley Conference’s Player of the Year in girls golf.
The Westfall girls team won the SVC title this year.
Lattavo, a freshman, had 226 strokes for an average of 37.67 this season. She came in second at the Division II District Tournament at Crown Hill Golf Club on Oct. 1 which qualified her for the upcoming state tournament on Oct. 13-14 at Firestone Country Club, Akron.

Coming in just behind Lattavo in the SVC is Westfall’s Paige Weiss, a senior, who had 229 strokes this season for an average of 38.17. Weiss led the Westfall team at districts and the team also qualified for the state tournament in Akron. Weiss shot 77 to come in first at the Division II District Tournament at Crown Hill Golf Club.
