LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – As the holiday shopping season gets busy, the Laredo Police Department is offering tips to help shoppers avoid theft.
Police warn that with large crowds at stores, thieves are also on the lookout for easy targets. Many thefts go unreported, sometimes because victims don’t realize their items were stolen.
If something is stolen, police encourage people to report it. They say they often have success finding suspects and recovering stolen items.
