The Los Angeles Lakers will look to continue the momentum they have been building over the last month or so when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. They have won three games in a row and 15 of their last 19, and with a 35-21 record, a win tonight would push them past the Houston Rockets in the standings and into fourth place in the Western Conference.
They defeated Minnesota in their season opener, but they lost their last two games versus Anthony Edwards and crew. On Dec. 2, Minnesota handed the Purple and Gold an abysmal 109-80 loss as LeBron James shot 4-of-16 from the field and committed six turnovers in one of his worst performances ever.
