Lakeridge’s Zyon Floyd will be staying home, as he announced his commitment to Portland State on Monday afternoon.
Floyd, who played receiver and defensive back, made the announcement on his social media.
Floyd was a big part of the Lakeridge’s football team this fall. He was a second team all-Three Rivers League selection as a safety, and was an all-league honorable mention as both a receiver and punt returner.
Floyd is listed as a two-star athlete, per 247Sports. He had also had interest from Boise State.
