The Salem Lady Wildcats golf team are in action today at the Effingham Country Club for Sectional action after qualifying from the Effingham St Anthony Regional last week. They join St Anthony and Effingham who moved on. Also individually moving on was Kennedy Jones of North Clay and Abby Tate of Vandalia. They will compete against qualifiers from Monticello, Tuscola and Mt Carmel.
Centralia’s Olivia Johnson will compete in the 2a Sectional at Weibring Golf Club in Normal after qualifying out of the Centralia Regional. She will join others who qualified from Galesburg, Lasalle/Peru and Lincoln. Teams that will compete after advancing from Centralia are O’Fallon, Edwardsville and Highland along with Marin’s Grace Roper and Natalie Lawler who moved on individually.
