BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Multiple Louisiana lawmakers have written a letter to the NFL, urging the league to keep the Super Bowl halftime show “family-friendly.”
The letter came from Louisiana State Senator Valarie Hodges, 16 other Louisiana legislators, and 15 organizations. It was addressed to the chairs of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the Louisiana Stadium Expo District.
The Super Bowl will take place in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, and Grammy Award-Winning artist Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the halftime show.
