The Nuggets are arguably playing their worst basketball of the season.
They’ve lost two straight and were just defeated by the Bulls as hefty nine-point favorites.
Now, they travel to The Garden for a matchup with the Knicks, winners of four in a row after tinkering with the lineup.
Coach Tom Thibodeau, widely known for running his starters out there for arguably too many minutes, has seemingly lengthened his rotation to nine players.
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |

Knicks | +3 (-108) | +130 | o240 (-110) |
Nuggets | -3 (-1120 | -154 | u240 (-110) |
The results have been quite good after they did their best Harlem Globetrotters impression against the Grizzlies on Monday, forcing 20 turnovers and scoring 143 points.
Last week against the Nets in the second half of a back-to-back, Thibodeau went to a nine-man rotation, giving forward Landry Shamet and Cameron Payne more minutes.
Perhaps not-so-coincidentally, they played inspired defense in that game, giving up just 95 points, their third-best performance of the season.
Since then, the Knicks have stuck to that formula while keeping backup center Jericho Sims on the bench a bit more.
Both teams will be given a good bit of rest going into Wednesday, so expect a heavyweight boxing match between two of the league’s best teams.
The Knicks have the second-best offensive rating in the NBA at 119.6, while the Nuggets are fourth-best. The total for this game will be a massive 240 points for two high-powered offenses.
And while the Nuggets are struggling lately, Nikola Jokic is playing Herculean basketball — putting up 33-12-14 in the loss to the Bulls.
Coming in as underdogs, the Nuggets are a good bet here, considering they’re No. 7 in overall net rating, whereas the Knicks are No. 5.
Denver is an excellent second-half team, showcasing the league’s second-best net rating, 8.8, after halftime, while having a net rating of just -0.6 in the first half.
It could be a good spot to live-bet the Nuggets in the second half, as I think the line is too long here.
Back the Nuggets as short underdogs Wednesday, but don’t be afraid to target Denver if its down going into the break either.
THE PLAY: Nuggets +3 (-108, FanDuel)
