LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – If you’re losing motivation to reach your new year fitness goals, the Nebraska Sports Council has launched a new challenge to get you moving again.
The WellPower 100 Challenge is part of the council’s WellPower Movement, designed to get people around the state to get active.
The challenge runs through Feb. 24, and participants can join the virtual challenge anytime.
Participants can log miles they have ran, walked, or biked during the week. People who reach 100 miles by the end of the challenge are automatically entered into a drawing for some gifts.
The Sports Council said over 100 top-tier prizes include bikes, kayaks, activewear, and gift cards.
During the challenge, participants will also receive badges for milestones like 25 and 50 miles.
While the challenge ends in February, the Nebraska Sports Council encourages folks to keep moving year-round.
