Gaming, winner of the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity in September for trainer Bob Baffert, worked Friday morning. Gaming covered six furlongs from the gate in 1:11.8, fastest of four at the distance. The work was his second since he finished eighth behind Speed King as the second choice in the Southwest Stakes (G3) at Oaklawn.

As of Wednesday, Gaming was 35-1 at Caesars Sportsbook in Las Vegas. He was one of eight horses from the Baffert barn among the 20 shortest prices in that futures book.

These three horses in Kentucky Derby futures worked Friday morning:

Filoso (City of Light) worked four furlongs in 47.9 seconds at Palm Meadows on Friday morning. It was the eighth fastest of 40 works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going six furlongs at Palm Meadows. In his last start he placed sixth in the Kentucky Jockey Club (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 30 for trainer Chad Summers.

Gaming (Game Winner), a Grade 1 winner (2024 Del Mar Futurity), worked six furlongs in 1:11.8 at Santa Anita on Friday morning. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he placed eighth in the Southwest (G3) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Oaklawn on Jan. 25 for trainer Bob Baffert.

He’s Not Joking (Practical Joke) worked five furlongs in 1:00.7 at Palm Meadows on Friday morning. It was the eighth fastest of 17 works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going five furlongs at Palm Meadows. In his last start he placed fifth in the Holy Bull (G3) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Gulfstream Park on Feb. 1 for trainer Josie Carroll.
