The holiday season is quickly approaching with three weeks until Thanksgiving and less than two months until Christmas. We know that means lots of gatherings with friends and family where it’s easy to indulge. So, how can you stay on track with your health and fitness goals through the season? Health and fitness expert Jody Trierweiler appeared on “Live In The D” to share four pillars that can help you succeed.
Trierweiler talked about physical activity, sleep, nutrition and stress management. So, what is the most important thing to consider? According to Trierweiler it‘s sleep. “None of the other pillars are going to stand if the sleep is not there. If you don‘t sleep, your body can‘t regenerate, your brain can’t heal,” said Trierweiler.
Second, Jody said to keep an eye on your nutrition. She said it‘s true that you are what you eat and if you aren’t eating right, you won’t feel right.
