BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – SIUE junior Brady Kaufmann has finished no worse than runner up in each of the SIUE’s three tournaments this season. Thursday, he earned his third consecutive Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week award after a runner-up finish at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational hosted by Air Force.
Kaufmann carded a final round 70 (-2) and finished at seven-under for the tournament. He finished with rounds of 71-69-70 and was three shots from the leader.
The Jacksonville, Illinois, native has a 303-2 individual record this season.
The Cougars are off until October 6 when they begin play at Wichita State’s Grier Jones Invitational.
