MANHATTAN — Kansas State basketball will face a familiar nonconference opponent Thursday night when LSU visits Bramlage Coliseum in the second half of a doubleheader with the Wildcat women’s team.
The No. 10-ranked K-State women (2-0) face preseason No. 20 Creighton (1-1) at 5:30 p.m., with the men taking on LSU at 8.
This will be the third time in as many years that the K-State (2-0) and LSU (2-0) men square off, with the Wildcats looking to complete a three-game sweep. The teams had never met before. K-State claimed a 61-59 victory in the finals of the 2022 Cayman Islands Classic and then followed it with a 75-60 decision at LSU last Dec. 9.
