Kansas football head coach Lance Leipold previews game against UNLV
Check out everything Kansas football head coach Lance Leipold had to say Monday ahead of KU’s game Friday against UNLV at Children’s Mercy Park.
KANSAS CITY, Kansas — Kansas football is returning to action Friday with a non-conference matchup against UNLV.
The Jayhawks (1-1) came in off of a 23-17 loss on the road against Illinois. The Rebels (2-0) came in off of a 72-14 win at home against Utah Tech. It’s a rematch of last year’s Guaranteed Rate Bowl, which Kansas won.
Will KU be able to bounce back from a disappointing defeat? Will redshirt junior quarterback Jalon Daniels leave his lackluster performance against Illinois in the past, and excel? The game is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. (CT).
