LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women’s golf program has received a signed commitment from junior college transfer Jane Huang to join the Rebels in the fall 2025 season, head coach Amy Bush-Herzer announced Monday.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jane to the UNLV women’s golf program,” said Bush-Herzer. “Her talent and competitive drive are undeniable, and we believe she will be a valuable asset to our team. We’re excited to see her continue to develop as a golfer and contribute to the success of our program.”
A native of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, Huang is currently in the midst of her sophomore year at Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida. As a freshman during the 2023-24 season, she earned NJCAA All-American honors after helping guide the Raiders to a runner-up finish at the national championship with a ninth-place individual outing and the 2024 NJCAA District Championship as the individual winner.
In her collegiate career, Huang has posted a 76.44 scoring average with three top-10 finishes and six top-30 performances overall in tournaments that have included several NCAA Division I opponents. Among her other top finishes, she tied for fifth at the SSC-hosted Warm-Up event this past fall to go along with ties for 22nd at Stetson’s Babs Steffen Invitational, 26th at Mercer’s Brickyard Collegiate and 16th at the Raiders’ home competition last season.
Huang makes up part of the Scarlet & Gray’s four-member 2025 signing class that features Demi Du (Las Vegas, NV/Shenzhen, Guangdong, China), Yen Liu (New Taipei, Taiwan) and Lana Yamagata (South Pasadena, CA).
