Homa: The French firm has bolstered its hybridcasual division with three new hires. Ayush Singh has been appointed as VP and GM of hybridcasual. He was formerly senior studio director of product at Zynga, GM and head of product at PokerStars, and head of product management and analytics for EA’s Slingshot studio.
Isaac Chan and Ryan Uota have joined Homa as lead producers of hybridcasual. Chan arrives following eight years at Riot Games, where he worked on League of Legends: Wild Rift and most recently served as senior game producer. Uota was previously a producer at Scopely, Activision, Amazon and Jam City.
Voodoo: The publishing giant has hired Paul Chambers as art director. He joins from Namco Bandai, where he worked for three years as a game artist, and he has previously held senior art roles at Supercell, King, Wooga and Outplay.
Tactile Games: There were seven new starters at the Lily’s Garden maker in the last month. Data architect Martin Bech Haagaard has joined the puzzle and casual games specialist from Netcompany, while new 2D animator Ela ONAT previously held the same position at Dream Games and Mangorama Studio.
Sisa Tamás, formerly of LastPass and UDEMX, has started as a backend engineer. New QA engineer Katarzyna Flig joins from Enlit Games, where she was a visual artist. Former Dream Games product specialist Beyza Haliloğlu has been appointed as a level designer, Onur Koyuturk has joined from Streetbees as a senior games analyst, and Ida Mikkelsen is interning as a graphic designer.
Cypher Games: The Turkish studio has hired Defne Senturk as marketing lead. She joins from Fiona’s Farm maker Ace Games, where she worked as performance marketing lead.
Mag Interactive: The Swedish casual games developer and publisher has appointed Otilia Lazar as head of marketing. Following spells at Bigpoint and Twigeo, she joins the Wordbrain maker having most recently spent five years at Angry Birds firm Rovio, where she was a product marketing lead.
Hutch: The London-based racing game studio has appointed Oliver Bulloss as co-CEO alongside Peter Hansen-Chambers. He was previously an executive producer at Rovio and King, before serving as general manager of action strategy games at NaturalMotion and head of studio at BossAlien. Current co-CEO Shaun Rutland is taking on the role of executive chairman.
Bazooka Tango: The studio behind upcoming multiplayer collectible tactics game Shardbound has appointed Oren Bennett as director of business development. He previously held similar positions at FunPlus, Krypton Foundation and VerseTech.
Scopely: The Monopoly Go maker has promoted Dajana Pitra to senior social media manager. She originally joined the company as a community manager in 2022, following several years in the same role at Teleperformance.
Raptor PR: The UK based PR firm has promoted Joshua Callaghan to senior account executive.
