The class of 2025 is starting to take shape for Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats as they start to hone in on their top remaining targets for the class.
No two names are as popular in the BBN at the moment as 5-star forward Caleb Wilson and 4-star guard Acaden Lewis.
Coming off a visit from this past weekend, Wilson set the fanbase on fire as he replied to Lewis saying, “come on over bro” via Twitter.
Now, social media is blowing up as 5-star UK commit Jasper Johnson made his pitch to Wilson and Lewis on Twitter.
At the moment, the Cats have a real chance to land the duo and pair them alongside Johnson and Malachi Moreno. However, the staff is going to have to fend off some big-time programs to do so.
For Wilson, Arkansas has long been seen as his likely destination since the arrival of John Calipari this spring. It doesn’t get any easier for Lewis either, as his finalists consist of UK, Duke, North Carolina, and UCONN. Talk about a stacked final four.
The momentum seems to be in the Cats’ favor, and it is starting to become fairly obvious that the three wouldn’t mind playing with each other in college.
Will that come to fruition? We will have to wait and see, but at the moment, the BBN has to know where those chances land.
Go Cats!
