Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was given a hefty fine for his unsportsmanlike penalty against the Chiefs last week.
The NFL fined Chase $31,599 for his penalty. Head referee Alex Kemp said he gave Chase the flag because of “abusive language” towards an official.
Chase believed he was hip-drop tackled by cornerback Trent McDuffie and that’s why he was upset. This is the fourth time Chase has been fined by the NFL in his career. As the Bengals prepare to take on the Commanders on Monday night, Chase opted not to discuss the penalty
