MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – One of our favorite days of the year is happening this Friday. It’s our annual 12’s Day of Giving.
At 12’s Day, we collect food, money, and toys for families in need.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, we were able to fill several shopping carts with new toys to donate at the event.
Matt Dendy with one of our sponsors, Jack’s, says, “Jack’s has been in the South for over 60 years and we thought this would be a great opportunity to support our local communities where we’ve been able to grow.”
Aisle by aisle, WSFA 12 News staff picked the perfect presents for boys and girls across our area.
Jack’s isn’t just buying toys to donate, it’s also calling on customers to get involved. The Up Your Change Fundraiser at Jack’s gives customers the opportunity to give.
“At all locations across the Montgomery area, when you go in, you can round up your change and all those proceeds will go to benefit 12’s Day of Giving,” Dendy said.
Jack’s is also collecting toys at its locations in Prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka, or any of the three restaurants in Montgomery.
