About the Tournament
• The Jackson T. Stephens Cup is named in memory of the late Augusta National Chairman Jackson T. Stephens
• Since the event’s inception in 2021, the Jackson T. Stephens Cup tournament committee has extended invitations to individual players as part of its celebration of diversity of education, ethnicity and background. Individuals from four HBCUs (Florida A&M University, Howard University, Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University) and three United States Service Academies (United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy and United States Air Force Academy) compete in the stroke-play portion of the competition.
• The three-day competition is slated for 54 holes of stroke play (36 holes on Monday, 18 holes on Tuesday) that will set the field for a final day of match play (Wednesday) based on the stroke-play team finish.
• In addition to a match play champion, the event will also recognize its 54-hole winners upon completion of stroke play.
• The men’s field features #1 Oklahoma, #14 Oklahoma State, #20 SMU, #26 Florida State, #89 Arkansas and #90 San Diego State, along with individuals Cameron Kahle (Air Force), Joshua Kim (Army), Kci Lindskog (Texas Southern), Sascha Robinson (Florida A&M), Marcus Smith Jr. (Howard) and Jack Tarzy (Navy)
• The women’s tournament will feature #1 Arkansas, #2 South Carolina, #9 Florida State, #13 Oregon, #17 Wake Forest and #30 Oklahoma State. Like Tarzy, senior Bridget Hoang and junior Sue Lee will represent Navy in the women’s tournament.
• Live scoring will be available for both the men’s and women’s tournaments on NavySports.com and SCOREBOARD powered by clippd. Additionally, a live broadcast of the Stephens Cup will be available on the GOLF Channel (Monday 5-8 pm ET / Tuesday 4-7 pm ET / Wednesday 4-7 pm ET).
