New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday the government’s decision to close down the local branch of Qatar’s global news channel, Al Jazeera. This move occurs amidst ongoing tension between Israel and the international news outlet. “The government unanimously decided: the incitement channel Al Jazeera will be closed in Israel,” Netanyahu wrote on social media website X.
