WILMINGTON, N.C. – The University of Notre Dame men’s golf team wrapped up its fall slate of competition Tuesday at the Williams Cup, finishing in a tie for sixth with a score of 875 (+11). The team was led by Jacob Modleski who finished at 214 (-2) through three rounds of play, including shooting a -2 on day one to set the bar for the team.
Modleski finished ninth overall in the final fall competition followed by Nate Stevens whose 221 (+5) was tied for 26th. Mike Qiu and Christopher Bagnall both shot a 222 (+6) over the three-day tournament which was tied for 35th overall. Rocco Salvitti also competed, registering a score of 226 (+10) for 51st overall.
The team now heads into a short hiatus before resuming practice ahead of the spring slate next semester.
