An investigation in Monticello has resulted in two men being arrested and the seizure of more than 40 illegal gambling machines.
According to the Monticello Police Department, city, county, state, and federal law enforcement officials executed four search warrants at businesses in Monticello, resulting in the arrest of Jaimin Patel and Obula Reddy, both 25, of Monticello.
Both men face multiple charges, including promoting gambling 1st degree, possession of gambling devices, permitting gambling and possession of gambling records.
City and county law enforcement officers, along with authorities from the FBI and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were involved in the investigation.
More arrests are forthcoming, according to law enforcement.
