Name one legendary Arab woman you look up to
“Ashira Darwish is a filmmaker, holistic healer and survivor of the occupation whose story deeply inspires me. She channelled her pain and tragedy into art, creating a powerful film, Where the Olive Trees Weep. Her resilience and ability to transform suffering into something meaningful demonstrate extraordinary perseverance, and I deeply admire her strength and refusal to give up.”
What is your go-to method of practising self-care?
“My favourite way to practise self-care is through somatic practices and nervous system regulation. These methods help me cultivate a sense of safety and balance within my body.”
What’s one mindfulness habit that you enjoy?
“I absolutely love journalling. It’s a powerful way for me to clear my mind and gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening within me. I journal every morning, and it helps me take care of myself, create mental clarity, and cultivate the space I need to be fully present throughout the day.”
