As the Golden State Warriors close a six-game homestand on Monday against the Orlando Magic, Steve Kerr’s rotation could get a much-needed boost with the return of a key starter.
Draymond Green has missed seven consecutive games for the Warriors while nursing a calf strain in his left leg. However, the former Defensive Player of the Year’s return to the court could be nearing.
After suffering a 130-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, Steve Kerr revealed the Warriors are expecting Green to return sometime next week. Green scrimmaged with the Warriors on Friday and was expected to practice with the team on Friday.
Following two days off over the weekend, the Warriors will wrap up their homestand on Monday against the Magic. The Warriors will then open a seven-game road swing, starting on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz. The Warriors will then travel to Los Angeles for a game against the new-look Los Angeles Lakers.
