7. In February 1948, during the second innings of a match against Australia, India recorded a low score of 67 runs. Lala Amarnath was the captain, and the highest scorer for the team was Hemu Adhikari, who made 17 runs off 44 balls.
8. On November 25, 1987, India recorded another lowest score of 75 during the test match played against West Indies in Delhi. In their first innings, Arun Lal remained the top scorer with 20 runs off 44 balls. At that time, the team was captained by Dilip Vengsarkar.
9. Another lowest score was recorded in April 2008 during the test match against South Africa. The team’s captain was Anil Kumble and match was played in Ahmedabad. The highest score recorded was made by Irfan Pathan who remained unbeaten at 21 off 17 balls while team overall scored 76.
10. In August 2021, the test match played in Leeds also recorded lowest score of Team India. During their 1st innings, Team India recorded an overall score of just 78 runs. The match was played against England and the highest score was recorded by Rohit Sharma at 19 off 105 balls.
