India vs Pakistan Women’s U19 Asia Cup Highlights: A small target of 68 runs and India women chased it down in style to kick off the tournament. G Kamilni starred with an unbeaten 44 off 29 balls. Though the girls in blue suffered an early blow as Fatima Khan took down G Trisha for a 2-ball duck, a 68-run stand between Kamilni and vice-captain Sanika Chalke took India home with 73 balls to spare. Thus, India women bagged their first points on the tally.
Earlier, Team India, led by Niki Prasad, exhibited a brilliant bowling performance as they restricted Pakistan to 67/7 in 20 overs. Uttar Pradesh spinner Sonam Yadav was the pick of Indian bowlers, returning magical figures of 4 for 6 in her 4-over quota. For Pakistan, wicketkeeper Komal Khan top-scored with 24 off 32 while 7 batters in the line-up scored in single digits.

After Sonam Yadav returned 4 for 6, it was Kamilini who starred with the bat and handed India women a comprehensive win. After losing G Trisha early in the chase, Kamilini took the onus and hammered 4 boundaries and 3 maximums during her 29-ball stay at the crease.
Another SIX for India. Quratulain bowls a flighted delivery, on the leg-stump line, Kamilini dances down the track and smashes a maximum over deep mid-wicket.
