India has recently inaugurated two new visa and passport centers in Washington State, USA, aimed at catering to the needs of the Indian community and enhancing service accessibility. The centers, located in Seattle and Bellevue, were officially opened on Friday, marking a significant step following the inauguration of the latest Indian Consulate in Seattle.
The new centers are part of the Indian government’s ongoing efforts to deepen its relations with the United States. Consul General of India in Seattle, Prakash Gupta, emphasized the importance of these facilities during the inauguration ceremony, highlighting the government’s commitment to providing better services to the Indian diaspora. He expressed optimism that applicants would benefit from improved facilities and streamlined processes at the new visa application centers.
The centers are managed by VFS Global, the exclusive service provider for visa, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI), passport, and Global Entry Program (GEP) verification services for the Government of India in the US. This partnership ensures that the services provided are efficient and meet the high standards expected by applicants.
