India resumes its quest to qualify for FIBA Asia Cup 2025 as the second competition window begins on Thursday, Nov. 21.
India dropped both games in the first qualifying window back in February, losing by 13 points to Kazakhstan and 33 points to Iran. India enters the second window as the 76th-ranked team in the FIBA World Rankings.
India has participated in every FIBA Asia Cup since 1999. In the last competition in 2022, it finished in 16th place.
Here’s a full rundown of India’s schedule and roster for the second FIBA Asia Cup Qualifying window.
The second qualifying window for FIBA Asia Cup 2025 begins on Thursday, Nov. 21 and lasts through Monday, Nov. 25.
Twenty-four games will take place across the five-day window, with teams continuing to compete in a round-robin-style format within their groups. Each team will play two games in each window.
The top two teams in each group will qualify for FIBA Asia Cup 2025. The six third-place teams will pay an additional qualifying round, competing for the final four spots. Saudi Arabia, as a host nation, has already qualified.
India competes in Group E, alongside Iran, Kazakhstan, and Qatar. You can find India’s complete schedule for all three qualifying rounds below.
