Tom Banton hit 74 off 52 balls to help set up MI Emirates’ 26-run win over Dubai Capitals in the International League T20.
Banton, who hit nine fours and two sixes, shared 109 for the third wicket with West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran (59 off 29) as MI Emirates posted 187-7.
England bowler Olly Stone dismissed the pair in claiming 2-31 from four overs.
In reply, Capitals were in a decent position at 115-1 in the 14th over but Scotland international Brandon McMullen was stumped off Waqar Salamkheil.
The game swung completely in MI Emirates’ favour when West Indies batter Shai Hope was dismissed for 101 from 59 balls a couple of overs later.
Both sides have won one match and lost one so far in this year’s competition.
