I may be in the minority, but I am sure losing interest in sports since TV networks took over.
It seems to me the colleges are just another pro league where the wealthiest boosters, like the wealthiest owners, will buy the best players. They took away local Midwest teams and put in leagues from all around the country, which I could care less about.
Now if we want to watch our team, we have to buy a package for everything. This is just leading to pay-for-view in the future for all games. I’ve had to pay extra to watch many Badger games.
If you want to go to a Packer game, you can’t make hotel reservations or make plans because TV calls the shots and can change it any time they want. If the majority of the fans are happy with this, fine. Otherwise, they better get organized and do some thing about it.
