Four-star Nebraska football quarterback target Trae Taylor put out his visit list earlier this week. Several big-name schools were on the list, including the Huskers. They will get a visit from the quarterback on March 27. The class of 2027 prospect recently put the Huskers in his top group last week as Nebraska continues to make a strong push for the signal-caller.
Taylor had a terrific season in 2024, throwing for 3,061 yards, 20 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He averaged 278.3 yards per contest, according to statistics from Maxpreps.com.
Taylor also confirmed he plans to announce his commitment on June 6. According to Rivals, he is a four-star recruit, the No. 4 quarterback in the class of 2027, and the top player in the state of Illinois.
The Huskers have been steadfast in their pursuit of Taylor. His coming to Lincoln for a visit is certainly a step in the right direction. Rivals.com’s Greg Smith recently indicated that the Huskers are very much in play for Taylor. It will be interesting to see where they fall in this recruitment race as the recruitment continues to heat up.
