It’s Team USA vs. the International Team this weekend at the 2024 Presidents Cup. This edition of the biennial tournament is taking place at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada.
Team USA are the favorite going into the tournament with a Presidents Cup record of 12-1-1, including a win at the 2022 tournament. Captained by Jim Furyk, the US side is stacked with top-ranked golfers including Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele. Canada native Mike Weir is captaining the International Team.
Looking to watch the 2024 Presidents Cup live? Read on. Below, we’ve put together a brief guide on how to livestream the 2024 Presidents Cup without cable, including a way to watch the golf tournament for free.
Early rounds of the Presidents Cup are airing live on Golf Channel, and later rounds are on NBC. If you don’t have cable, we recommends getting a live TV streaming service that carries both channels to watch the Presidents Cup online. You can also watch the final two days (Saturday and Sunday) on Peacock.
Here’s a full breakdown of your options:
DirecTV Stream carries NBC in all of its packages (where available) and Golf Channel in the Sports Pack add-on, making it a great service to watch the Presidents Cup online. You get a five-day free trial to start, and then packages cost $79.99 and up. The Sports Pack is an additional $14.99, but right now DirecTV Stream is offering the add-on for free for your first two months.
Another great comprehensive cable streaming service with NBC and Golf Channel is fubo. This one begins with a seven-day free trial and starts at $79.99 a month after that. Right now, though, fubo is offering $30 off your first month, bringing the initial price down to $49.99.
Hulu + Live TV carries NBC and Golf Channel for watching the whole Presidents Cup tournament. The service costs $76.99 a month after a three-day free trial.
Another streaming service we like for watching the Presidents Cup is Sling. You don’t get a free trial, but it is much more affordable with the NBC-equipped Blue package starting at $45. For Golf Channel access you’ll also want the Sports Extra add-on, which costs $11 a month.
If you’re looking to watch the Presidents Cup for free, be sure to use a free trial from DirecTV Stream, fubo, or Hulu + Live TV.
