Thanksgiving Football has become one of the most beloved Turkey Day traditions, and this year’s trio of games is worth the hype. We’ve compiled everything you need to know about how to watch Thanksgiving Football, including a live stream of the Giants vs. Cowboys match-up.
The NFL’s Thanksgiving games continue with another notable triple-header. The day will kick off with a Bears vs. Lions game followed by Giants vs. Cowboys. The night is scheduled to conclude with Dolphins vs. Packers. The Cowboys game presents a rematch of the 2022 game, wherein the Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Giants 28-20. The teams last played in September, when the Cowboys beat the Giants 20-15. The Cowboys (4-7) have been having a bit of a rough season so far, but the same can be said for the Giants (2-9). Both teams are in the bottom half of the NFC East rankings, trailing the Eagles and the Commanders, so today’s game could provide a much-needed boost for either team.

Thanksgiving Football will air across several networks in the US. CBS will broadcast the Bears vs. Lions game at 12:30 p.m. ET, FOX will broadcast the Giants vs. Cowboys game at 4:30 p.m. ET, and NBC will broadcast the Dolphins vs. Packers game at 8:20 p.m. ET. Cord-cutters hoping to live stream the games can do so through a couple of different avenues. We’ll highlight streaming services that can help you watch one specific game or multiple. Every service we recommend has a promo going, with many competitive offers pegged to Black Friday.
If you only want to watch the Bears vs. Lions game, you can live stream the match-up on CBS through Paramount Plus. Both plans are currently available for $3 per month for the first two months, thanks to the special Black Friday Paramount Plus deals. After those two months, the plans will renew at their standard rates ($8 per month for Paramount Plus Essential and $13 per month for Paramount Plus with Showtime).
Paramount Plus is perfect for viewers who want to stream CBS TV shows, local NFL games, and tons of content from Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, and MTV. And if you get the premium tier you can also unlock ad-free streaming and access to Showtime. A new promotion sees the monthly fee knocked down to $2.99 for a couple of months.
If you only want to watch the Dolphins vs. Packers game, you can live stream it on NBC via Peacock. The cheapest way to watch is through Peacock, which is currently offering a generous Black Friday deal. The Black Friday Peacock deals offer savings on the base Peacock Premium plan, including $2 per month for six months or $20 for an entire year. Peacock’s Premium subscriptions typically go for $8 per month and $80 per year, so this is a great savings opportunity if you don’t mind the ads.
Peacock is a convenient streaming source for hit NBC TV shows, Universal movies, and select sports like Sunday Night Football. Monthly fees are usually $7.99, but the current Black Friday promo slashes that price down to $1.99 for six months on the ad-supported tier. Or you can go for a year at just $20. Offer expires December 2.
If you want to watch all three games and would prefer a more robust package of channels, you should consider DirecTV Stream or Fubo. These month-to-month live TV streaming packages carry multiple live channels, including FOX, CBS, and NBC. DirecTV Stream plans start at $87 per month and include a five-day free trial. Fubo subscriptions start at $80 per month and come with a seven-day free trial. Fubo is also currently offering $30 off the first month of service on all three of its major tiers.
Previously known as AT&T TV, DirecTV Stream offers streaming access to a large selection of live channels, including most key networks typically found in traditional cable packages.
Fubo is the streaming service for sports fans. Its huge library of channels includes regional and international sports leagues, setting it apart from the competition. You can also tack on additional programming to your plan, but it’ll cost you extra.
DAZN’s NFL Game Pass is the answer to all of your needs if you live outside of the US and are hoping to access the Thanksgiving games (and most other games in the regular and postseason). The service offers several plans that vary in price depending on your contract length and country. A special Black Friday deal will give you seven-day access for just under £1 in the UK, compared to the standard £15 this flexible plan usually costs weekly. It will renew at the standard rate, but this is a cheap option if you’re just looking to watch the Thanksgiving Day games while abroad. You can also subscribe to monthly or season-long passes, which tend to offer savings in the long run.
DAZN is the home of NFL Game Pass International, the only service offering live and on-demand access to all NFL games in supported countries outside the United States and China.
If you’re traveling away from home for the holiday, you can still keep up with your usual streaming methods with the help of a VPN (virtual private network). VPNs are handy cybersecurity tools that let you change your virtual location so that you can use all your usual websites and apps from almost anywhere in the world. The streaming options we’ve recommended require country-specific payment methods, so this option will work best for those who are just traveling away from home at the moment.
If you don’t already have a VPN, ExpressVPN is our go-to recommendation. It’s a top-rated option with a 30-day money-back guarantee. ExpressVPN typically costs $12.95 per month, but its Black Friday deals offer major savings on one and two-year plans, which knock the amount you’d spend each year more than in half (and throw in anywhere from four to six free months). You can read all about the service in our ExpressVPN review, or check out our breakdown of the ExpressVPN Black Friday deals.
ExpressVPN’s one-year plan offers major discounts plus an extra four months free. The 16-month plan now comes with ID Theft Insurance and a credit scanner for US subscribers, in addition to the usual password manager, tracker blocker, ad blocker, and new ID alerts. The service also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries, and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
