Looking to complete another in-state sweep, No. 22 Iowa women’s basketball hosts Northern Iowa on Friday inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. BTN+ will stream the 6:30 p.m. CT contest.
The Hawkeyes (9-2) already secured wins at Drake and against Iowa State earlier in the non-conference, setting the stage for what could be Iowa’s sixth in-state sweep in the last eight seasons. UNI, though, hasn’t dropped an in-state game yet this season, after stunning the Cyclones in McLeod Center on Nov. 20. Before facing Drake twice during the Missouri Valley Conference schedule, the Panthers (5-5) will try to win inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena for the first time since 2006.
