In an interview with Lallantop Cinema, Bhateja disclosed that Bollywood celebrities spend anywhere between Rs 2-5 lakh per month on fitness, including personal training and diet plans. “There is no limit. It can be anywhere between Rs 2-5 lakh per month, including their diet,” he said, highlighting the substantial investment required to maintain their bodies.
A major portion of this expense goes into hiring personal trainers who charge around Rs 3,000-5,000 per session, depending on their experience and clientele. Celebrities often opt for one-on-one training sessions, custom workout programs, and even at-home gym setups to accommodate their demanding schedules.
A well-planned diet is crucial for maintaining a toned physique, and Bollywood celebrities often include superfoods like blueberries, avocados, and organic proteins in their meals. However, these items significantly increase costs. Bhateja reassured that such expensive foods are not essential for everyone, stating, “Although these superfoods are beneficial, they are not necessary for every person to consume. Affordable alternatives like pomegranates and eggs can provide the body with similar nutrients.”
The pressure to maintain a certain look often leads celebrities to take extreme measures for quick transformations. Bhateja pointed out the rising trend of using Ozempic for weight loss and steroids for muscle building, warning about their negative health effects. “Losing a lot of weight or building muscle within weeks is not possible naturally. So, if a celebrity and their trainer are using external help, they know the consequences, and there will be ill effects on their health,” he cautioned.
While celebrities invest heavily in fitness, Bhateja reassured that achieving a fit body does not require an extravagant budget. He advised focusing on affordable, nutrient-rich foods and consistent workouts rather than luxury gym memberships or expensive superfoods. “You don’t have to spend a lot to stay fit. Focus on an affordable, nutritious diet and regular workouts. Focus on consistency and smart choices rather than joining a luxury gym or consuming expensive superfoods,” he said. For the average person, staying fit is more about dedication, discipline, and making smart dietary choices rather than spending huge amounts on premium fitness plans. While Bollywood celebrities may spend lakhs on their fitness, Bhateja’s insights make it clear that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is possible without breaking the bank.
