Exercising and keeping up with a workout routine is usually a challenge no matter who and where you are, especially during the holiday season. But for 18-year-old Mohammed Hatem in Gaza, keeping up with his fitness journey has proven even more difficult amidst the violence plaguing his homeland.
Here & Now‘s Deepa Fernandes speaks with Hatem about how he manages to fit in his daily reps while trying to survive displacement, loss of loved ones, little available sustenance and violence raging around him.
