Straight No Chaser rallied to win a Breeders’ Cup race Saturday afternoon and the performance caught at least one analyst by surprise.
The five-year-old owned by more than 1,000 microshare owners through MyRacehorse landed in the Del Mar winner’s circle after taking the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Sprint. But there was a point during the race where some people thought Straight No Chaser would fall short of the winner’s circle. Count FanDuel TV racing analyst among them.
Fans were able to watch the Breeders’ Cup race on USA Network, Peacock or FanDuel TV. And for those watching Straight No Chaser enter the winner’s circle on FanDuel TV, they were provided a little bonus analysis from Bray.

As NBC’s longtime voice of the Breeder’s Cup, Larry Collmus finished his call of the race, Bray couldn’t help from asking “Didn’t he look f*cking done?” shortly after Straight No Chaser crossed the finish line. It’s safe to say that part of Bray’s analysis wasn’t meant for the airwaves.
In Bray’s defense, he probably wasn’t the only one who thought Straight No Chaser was “f*cking done,” with the 8 horse appearing to fall off the pace before making a late push to cross the finish line first. He was just the only one who said it about the horse in front of a live mic on TV.
