This week on HorseCenter, Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman present their final preview for the 2024 Breeders’ Cup Classic and a strong edition of the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. The guys also provide top picks and suggested wagers for the world championships at Del Mar.
Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Classic drew a full field of 14 led by the three favorites City of Troy, Fierceness and Forever Young. Matt and Brian suggest wagers that involve the Classic. Matt has tickets for Saturday’s all-dirt Pick 4 and middle Pick 5, and Brian offers a two-day daily double on the Juvenile and the Classic.
The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile is the featured race on Friday, and it drew a field of 10. East Avenue and Chancer Mc Patrick are the favorites in this race for 2-year-old males based on their recent Grade 1 victories in the Breeders’ Futurity at Keeneland and the Champagne at Aqueduct.
You can go back and look at the other three editions of HorseCenter that previewed the Breeders’ Cup as you prepare for the biggest weekend of racing in America. Good luck, and thanks for watching the show.
