FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, a national initiative led by the National Council on Problem Gambling that helps increase awareness of problem gambling and the availability of prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
In recognition, the Hoosier Lottery has launched a new Player Health Screening.
Players who complete the screening can then enter to win one of five Positive Play prize packs valued at over $200.

“At the Hoosier Lottery, we are committed to responsible gaming and strive to promote a positive playing experience,” said Sarah M. Taylor, Hoosier Lottery’s executive director. “If a player’s gambling behaviors become damaging to themselves, their family, or their workplace, we want them to know there are resources that can help.”
In addition to the Player Health Screening, the Hoosier Lottery says players can visit https://hoosierlottery.com/positive-play/ for interactive, educational experiences that can help them keep their play healthy and positive.
A Problem Gambling Helpline is available by dialing 1-800-994-8448, texting INGAMB to 53342 or clicking the Chat Now link at the top of any Hoosier Lottery webpage.
