HOLT, Mich. (WILX) – Caleb Dance might be just 12 years old, but he’s determined to be great. Dance grew up with a love of the sport and developed a passion for his craft at a young age.
“My parents always had a hoop in the driveway, and I got there with my brothers and my dad and went shoot on it with them. Also, my older brother played on a basketball team before I started playing, and it just really inspired me to start playing basketball,” said Dance.
From that point Dance wakes up before school every morning just to put shots up in his driveway to keep improving his craft. His father Tom Dance is a Michigan State football alum and couldn’t be more proud of his son.
Caleb is currently in 7th grade and is excited to get his season started with the Michigan Mavericks.
