With just a few days to go until Christmas, thousands of holiday shoppers made a mad dash across the region Saturday to finish buying their gifts. At the Roseville Galleria, officials estimated 80-90,000 shoppers would visit their center Saturday. The Saturday before Christmas, they said, is the second busiest day of the year – coming in after Black Friday. “I thought online shopping was a thing. Not anymore,” said Hayden Shepard, shopping for his mother and grandmother Saturday. “I like it though. It’s like a sense of community out here.”
