NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – The Shops at Yale, one of New Haven’s most popular shopping destinations, is offering an afternoon filled with festive events that are perfect for families looking to embrace the holiday spirit.

Whether you’re crossing items off your Christmas shopping list or simply enjoying the seasonal atmosphere, the shops are a must-visit this December.

The area was brimming with holiday magic, highlighted by beautiful light displays and festive decorations.

A Toy and Coat Drive, organized by the United Way of Greater New Haven, will take place.

Donations of new coats and unwrapped toys are being collected to support families with young children in need this holiday season, providing a wonderful opportunity for the community to give back while celebrating the season.

In addition to the drive, families can enjoy a free photo booth and a kids’ craft station, where children can create their own holiday masterpieces.

The holiday magic will continue with a special appearance by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on Sunday afternoon, delighting kids and families alike.

Adding to the festive ambiance, local high school chorus singers and carolers will perform throughout the day, filling the area with traditional holiday tunes.
