MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Dog tails were waging back and forth Thursday night in Hilldale as the shopping center in Madison hosted a “tail-gate” Yappy Hour.
Many dogs dressed in their favorite teams’ colors while they played fetch with their owners and listened to game-day music.
The event also featured a “pup crawl” with treats and caricature artists.
All donations collected from the pup-friendly event went to the Dane County Humane Society.
Hilldale’s General Manager Nanci Horn said dogs are always welcomed.
“This is one of the most favorite events that our store employees have,” said Horn. “They love to see the dogs come in, and as I mentioned, we’re pet friendly all the time, not just on a Yappy Hour night.”
If you are looking for a chance to dress up your dog for Halloween, Hilldale will be hosting another event for your furry friend in October.
