Duchesne High School’s drill team started a new state championship streak on Friday.
From 2004 to 2018 the Talons won 15 straight state titles, but hit a dry patch after that and didn’t hoist a state championship trophy until 2024. They started a new streak at UVU during Friday’s 2A state championships.
Duchesne won two of three categories to edge South Sevier for the 2025 state title. Beaver finished third, followed by Kanab and North Summit.
Duchesne won the Military and Dance categories, while South Sevier won the Show category.
