Henrico County is hosting its first Active Aging Week Walk and Fitness Forum Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Henrico Sports and Events Center in Glen Allen. The free event is designed for residents ages 50 and older and will include a variety of activities, resources and services tailored to their needs.

During the event, attendees can walk the outlined track, participate in fitness demonstrations or health education sessions and meet with health and fitness professionals to learn about services and ways to stay active and healthy.

In addition to providing fitness information, the event will also include a raffle for prizes.
