NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Orleans golf team will wrap up its fall season with a trip to Sugar Land, Texas for the HCU Husky Invitational at Riverbend Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Monday and Tuesday will be the first appearance by the Privateers both at the HCU Husky Intercollegiate, and Riverbend Country Club. The course is 6,908 yards long and plays to a 72 par. It’s rated 74.3 with a slope of 139.
FORMAT
The teams will play 36 holes of golf on Monday with another 18 on Tuesday morning. The HCU Husky Intercollegiate will use a shotgun start with tee times at 8:15 a.m. New Orleans will be paired with Prairie View A&M and Houston.

Playing with just four golfers for the final two rounds New Orleans finished in ninth-place at the LaTOUR Intercollegiate. Taylor Boasberg finished just outside the top-20 to lead New Orleans. Gabriel Gallego withdrew early during the second round due to injury.
